| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Sampled twice, once from bottle courtesy of Jonas, once at the brewery. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber to medium brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), trace hops (flowers, herbs), with a note of soap. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. FInish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A very unfulfilling dunkel...bland, thin, and kind of soapy. pivnizub (5096), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottled. A clear dark amber beer with a quite big light brown head. Nice aroma of malt and caramel. Sweet malty taste with caramel, nuts and fruity notes. Light/medium bodied, mild hoppy aftertaste that is medium long. Balanced, refreshing, flavourful and easily drinkable, has all you can ask in a dunkel. I liked it very much.
