Bottled. Beer is clear, vibrant medium-hued copper-gold. Head is large, white, frothy. Slowly diminishes but mostly lasts. Thick crust of lacing around the edges of the snifter. Effervescent trails of large carbonation bubbles etch the fluid.
Instantly likable aroma. Malty with light notes of toasted bread crust; Hoppy with light, lean notes of herb, lemon zest; Yeasty with a light notes of banana/clove and cellar; Light/moderate note of spicy grains of paradise.
The flavor is lightly sweet, moderately acidic/juicy, lightly/moderately bitter with a longer, lightly bitter, moderately acidic/dry, trace sweet finish. Lingering tingle on the gums.
The body is medium, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively/fizzy.
Lean, fetching, drinkable.

500ml bottle. Perfect hefeweizen appearance: hazy soft yellow body with a thick, strong and upright white head, looks like it could sit in the glass for hours and not deflate at all. Wonderfully vibrant nose of flower petals, spicy, peppery yeast and a soothing sweet lemon and wheat scent. Flavor is downright amazing: fresh, vibrant, prickly, semi-sweet before a little bit of sourness often found in Berliner weisse. Very smooth up front, more edgy across the middle, before finishing a bit sweeter than it started, with more of a lemon and candy sugar emphasis. Very, very good hefeweizen. I only wish it was 80 degrees outside rather than 30.

Large lasting white foam covers the typical golden and hazy pour. Estery, aromatic nose with peach juice, pineapple and banana. A rather exotic feel, but all kept tightly together by the cohesive wheat. Not much cerealic depth, the malt is leaving all the aromatic room to the yeast. Neglectable hops to boot. Champaigny, yet unagressive carbonation. Crisp and highly drinkable. Nothing to write home about, but cleaner than most other Plank. Very well integrated tartness.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, lowish off-white head. Spicy sourdough bread nose. Earthy fruity base, banana and berries, a fair deal of christmas spises. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Berrylike retronasal.

Bottle shared by EDA. Very spicy clove aroma, quite big, but sorely lacking in complexity and interest. The flavor may or may not be nice, I don’t know, because a dangerously harsh palate coats my tongue incessant carbonation that simply cannot be avoided. Brings down what would otherwise but probably quite a nice beer.

Looks good enough with a fluffy white head. Aroma is plenty banana. Creamy smooth palate with a nice touch of spicy hops. This shit is really good. I lie the fact that its not too sweet.

Bottle: Dirty caramel, thick and hazy, darker than expected, head that is large and rocky, spotty lacing. Heavy clove nose, slight banana and wheat notes. Bready on the tongue, but also has a bit of wax. Somewhat spicy, cloves are certainly apparent, but the banana and wheat aspect takes a back seat. Full bodied, good mouthfeel. *BURP* Waxy finish, somewhat reminds me of those waxed cardboard boxes used for vegetables. Smell that, and imagine what it would taste like. Getting a little bit of that in this one. Not bad, but the waxy aspect tends to detract and is a bit too strong over the other aspects. Was expecting a bit better based on the ratings. Oh well. Big thanks to Styles for sending me this one!
