Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Willowbrook, Illinois: This might be my first Heller Weizenbock, pouring a clear golden/amber body. The initially tall head reduces quickly into a film despite the steady streams of bubbles from the bottom of the Hacker-Pschorr glass. The aroma is light - fresh bananas and some sweet wheaty malt. The strong carbonation quashes much of the flavor, which has the addition of cloves and a splash of alcohol. Not bad, but a bit too gassy for my liking.

500ml German style bottle. Golden amber \ copper color. Fizzy cream of off-white color. Aroma of banana and vanilla. Smells fruity and very sweet. Flavor is a bold malt, somewhat woody. Nice clove spice, some ripened banana. Lots of alcohol flavor. Highly carbonated, very fizzy. Overall it tastes like a banana soda in a wheat base. Finishes dry. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours a darker clear glowing golden copper with a tall fizzy white foam on top. Aroma is very sweet, lots of super sweet malt sugars, slightly nutty, metallic, overripe banana, touch of alcohol, lightly floral, wheat, yeast, very strong aroma. Flavor follows, quite sweet, nutty, super rich, some tart banana, spicy, very yeasty but mostly sweet rich syrupy malt sugars, just slightly hot on the finish, long mouth coating super rich caramel banana aftertaste. Medium/full bodied, a bit syrupy sticky, but actually quite drinkable, larger round fizzy soda bubbles that seem to sit on the tongue instead of popping in the mouth, leaves the mouth very sticky. This is very rich wheat alcohol candy!

Bottle. Pours an orange gold body with a white head. Tangy spicy yeast notes of clove, banana, and a hint of pepper. Orange peel and a light lemon character. Nice brew.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 500 ml bottle. Murky, medium gold pour with a soft white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Faint clove in the aroma, hint of yeast. Flavor has some subtle bubblegum notes, hint of bananas, back end yeastiness with some doughiness. Not overflowing with flavor. Thick enough mouthfeel. About average.

Pours a efervesant, cloudy golden color with a bubbly-white head that disolves quickly and there is no lacing . Perfect golden weizenbock with perfect balance of weiss bubblegum and banana flavors with the warm bite of a bock. Drink this
