[Bottle, thanks Guerde] Pours hazy orange with a white head that was initially very large. Aroma is really yeast dominant with banana, some cloves, and a little apple. Taste is roughly the same with alcohol more present. Good mouthfeel with a fairly long finish that is a little dry. A nice weizen bock that is very drinkable.

Hazy, very bubbly pale yellow offering. Constantly fed white head is initially growing, but as the saturation settles down, it resumes to a fair cover. Quite citrusy on the nose, perhaps more toward orange than lemon. The soft tartness that there is also appears to be more citric than originating from the wheat. A sweeter Plank beer. Strong banana notions, a bit of cloves as well. Certainly not agressive in its complexity. Subtle notes of white almond, vanilla sweetness. No spiciness. Gentle apple notes. Medium bodied at best. Strong, but rather fading carbonation. This is a good ale, but I must say I was not as seduced as I hoped by Plank. Fruity and subtle yeast strain, but never feeling very fresh, nor vibrant.

Appearance: Clouded darkish antique brass body with a swift dissipating light sand colored head. Aroma: Sweetish side, chocolate malt and banana with a hint of clove underneath. Flavor/Palate: Medium bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Some bittersweet chocolate and clove with a stronger undercurrent of banana. SOme doughy aspects as well. Honestly wasn’t expecting much from this so I was quite happy with the end result.

Bottle shared by EDA. Hard to believe this is 95th percentile. Like the hefe, this beer is plagued by an massivly overcarbonated body that blocks any possible complexity in the flavor. Lightly buttery aroma, a little bit of peanut brittle. If anything, this needs more oomph to overcome its palate.

Bottle. Similar to the Hefeweizen but without the good looking head, aroma or body. I like the scrubbing effect on the palate.

Hazy golden color with floral aroma and some bready attributes. Citrus flavors with some breadiness here as well. Finish is smooth and slightly sweet with very mild sour hints.

(50cl bottle) Hazy straw body topped by medium pillowy head. Aroma is moderately sweet, banana, orange, bubblegum, some clove. Taste is medium sweet, orange/lemon, light bubblegum, banana, alcohol, apple. Creamy medium body, light effervescence.

Pours a hazy yellow with a large fizzy head that has decent retention and no lacing. The aroma has that distinctive clove and sour fruit scent with strong wheat and musty hay. The flavour emphasizes wheat, cereal and doughy malts more so than the clove, banana and lemon grass. It is balanced and carbonated enough for to be crisp. Notes of apple and pear come out in the finish. Full bodied and tingly mouthfeel with a sweet, fruity aftertaste.
