Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel malts, bready notes as well as rather fruity and wooden notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Very pleasant brew.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer with a white head. The aroma has pale malts on the grainy side, with fruits and flowery notes as well. There’s a fine bitterness in the mouth, balancing the pale malts nicely. Fruity. Medium body, quite dry. Medium lenght finish with nice bitterness. A quite nice beer in many ways, but nothing more than a decent thirst quencher. 090822

Bottle, 4.9%. Mild citric aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. Mildly flowery and grassy hop flavour. Subtle, but refreshing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a white head. Sweetish malty nose with a floral touch. Medium body, distinct floral hops that leave a surprisingly bitter finish - considering this being a Helles. 220809

It’s hazy golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, citrus, flower and a slightly dry bitterness in the finish. Quite refreshing and nice.

Came as Plank Helles. Cloudy golden with a medium white head. Sweet malty aroma with grainy notes. Sweet flavour with malty and caramel notes. Had some grassy hops towards the end. Finished bitter.

500 ml bottle in Germany. When compared to their other beers it might seem to some to be a disapointment but as a stand alone Helles this is everything a Helles should be. One of the better Helles that you can find anywhere. But most people dont understand what a Helles is.
