(Bottle) Lasting white foamy head with a highly carbonated golden body. Nose is corn bread. The flavour brings out a mild tin taste. Good. Thanks Joss!

Plank Helles Lager. Dull golden colour. Grassy, bready nose. Bready, herbal character. Some light bitterness. Tasty brew.

Bottle thanks to Joss! Pours pale straw color with not much head. Grainy nose, slightly metallic, some hop. A little thin but decent palate with some chewiness. Good hop bite.

Bottle (thanks Jonas!). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a note of soap. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation. Quite disappointing, as was the dunkel (Edel), and a sad surprise from an otherwise strong brewer.

Bottle ("Helles Lager" on the label) Clear, greenish golden coloured, bigger stable white head with a good lace, moderate grainy and distinctive barnyardy nose; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; some bittering hops show up in the dry, fruity finish. A good thirst quencher, delivered by joss...........
