Draught @ Plevna, Tampere. Golden color, white head. Bitter hoppy flavor with biscuity malts. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. It’s fairly easy to find a better pilsener.

Mar 26, 2009 Draught 0.25L glass at Plevna Tampere. Pale head 10mm. Pale golden yellow colour. Slightly watery taste. At the end some hoppiness.

Oct 3, 2008 (Draught at Mansevesti’08) Golden. Clear. Medium sized quickly disappearing head. Hops in nose. Dry and medium bodied palate with lot of carbonation. Malts, bitterness and slight sweetness in taste.

Jun 16, 2008 Updated: Sep 5, 2008Draught at Herman, Turku. Clear pale golden, no head. Grassy and grainy, medium bodied. Dry and crisp, yet rounded with long grassy bitter finish. Despite the saaz hops it feels more German than Czech. Very good anyway!

Oct 30, 2007 Dark yellow colored, medium sized white head. Crispy Saaz-hopped aroma with nice Plevna-flowers and rich sweet fruits. Medium bodied. Flavor is also better than I remembered: rich with this same well hopped tone and convenient flowerness, bitterness lasts in aftertaste. Maybe hints of metal also in aftertaste. Still as I said, better brew than I remembered.

Yellow, light head. Served too cold. Light grainy aroma. Taste is pleasantly malty, hints of ginger, but mostly grain. Not enough hoppy dryness for a pils.

Aug 1, 2007 Thick and frothy white head over a medium gold-straw body. Aroma of honey and straw, fresh cut grass, light banana and pear. The flavour starts lightly sweet, lightly bitter and finishes lightly sweet, moderately bitter with a grassy aftertaste. Light body and watery texture with fizzy carbonation. Not as hoppy as I’d have liked and some rather unusual fruitiness (though I didn’t particularly mind that aspect). Still, a bit on the thin side, overall.
