Jmichael (532), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Aug 12, 2008 pours a clear strong gold with mild white fluffy head. slight smooth light aroma, smooth palate with refreshing qualities, good in that it does not leave the bad after taste of the other light lagers, pretty smooth and it stays in the glass and not your palate. Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jun 9, 2008 Not sure why an all malt beer is listed as a Pale Lager rather than a Premium Lager. Style isn’t dictated by quality. Oh, well. It pours a pale yellow body with a short-lived fizzy head. No lacing. The aroma is sweet and grainy with a bit of earthy bitterness. The hops get grassy in the flavor, although they’re still a little soiled. Suitable as a lawnmower beer.
CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jan 20, 2008 Pours a transparent fizzy golden with a thin, wispy white head. Aroma of softly sweet grainy pale malts and some noble hops. Body starts with some effervescent carbonation and mild sweetness drying out more toward a semi-bitter finish. Pretty drinkable, but nothing all that memorable for an "Anniversary" beer. JohnnyOS (610), Golden, Wisconsin, USA Jan 13, 2008 Pours a straw yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma of grains, hops and corn with a flavor to match. Not much there... tastes like a light special to me. lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Jan 2, 2008 pours a clear yellow with a nice two finger fluffy white head. aroma is some malt, a touch of hops, and corn. has a light body and lacing that follows the beer and descent carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma. its ok but i would rather have the regular special lager than this beer.
