| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 26, 2005 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of frothy large sized mostly lasting off-white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and caramel brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of faint malty . Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a lingering tingly palate and a mild malty aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild malt red hop notes. blackburn99 (7), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Surely, not the greatest amber beer I’ve ever had. The taste was thin and not full-bodied. Leinenkugel Red is far superior. Cheers !!!! jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 10, 2005 The bottle poured a sparkling dark amber beverage, lightly carbonated. It had an average size tan fizzy head that didn’t last long but left a little lacing on the glass. The aroma was quite fruity with the primary aroma of banana and lesser notes of dried plum and grape in the background. In addition I detected a hint of bread and caramel in the background. The body was medium-light with light carbonation and a smooth texture. The Flavor starts off sweet and fruity. As it matures caramel comes to the front and the finish is long and smooth with some alcohol warmth. jaymobrown (1355), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 17, 2005 Fizzy malt based beverage. Copper/caramel color. Tasted vaguely sweet with some muted toffee flavors. Considerably bubbly. Overall it’s pretty average. Something to drink without realizing that you’re actually drinking something. frankenkitty (1902), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 6, 2005 A crystal clear caramel/amber body with lively effervescence... a surgically-clean appearance topped by a methodically fading off-white head. Light caramel and mustiness in aroma with weak nuttiness and a hint of diacetyl. Mildly-malted flavor is semi-sweet, but there’s a slight bitter lift at the end. Overall watery and weak. Another Point you can forget about.
