| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 6, 2005 A crystal clear caramel/amber body with lively effervescence... a surgically-clean appearance topped by a methodically fading off-white head. Light caramel and mustiness in aroma with weak nuttiness and a hint of diacetyl. Mildly-malted flavor is semi-sweet, but there’s a slight bitter lift at the end. Overall watery and weak. Another Point you can forget about.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours an orange-amber with a creamy white head and lacing that marks each sip. Aroma is toasted malts and is quite mild and clean. Flavor is well-balanced and is dominated by European malts. Finishes dry and clean. Light to medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and creamy. Brewed to style. A good lager. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 19, 2005 Clear copper brown in color with an aroma of hazelnuts, maple sugar, rye and sourdough bread. Light, acidic macro splendor in every sense. Watery corn syrup and grape nuts juxtapose an extract comprised from a handful of bargain nuts. Weak. Lacks body. You’ve been warned. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 26, 2005 A thin, watery beer with little aroma. The color is red/brown. Flavor of very light malt. Not much flavor. Very light palte. In line with a low quality Vienna such as Dos Equis. twindadplus2 (418), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2005 Pours reddish amber with a small white head that doesn’t hang around. Aroma is sweet malt and a touch of bread. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Flavor is malty sweet with a hint of roasted malt and caramel and a strong hops finish. Another pleasant surprise from Point. I may have to sample a few of their other brews. JoshuaB (428), Detroit, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2005 A decent Amber. Poured a nice amber with a thin layer of white head the stayed till the end. Pretty simple flavor, although there are some hops that peek through after the malts hit. Slightly acidic. Smooth palate. Wisconsin macros dont get much better. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | May 25, 2005 As good an American amber as I’ve had from most brewers. Bready in aroma and flavor with a subdued hop finish. A little like an alt. Not terribly complex, but very tasty and drinkable. Nice surprise from this brewer, especially w/ the very affordable under-6-bucks price tag. "Point well taken, Stevens Point!" BeerAteHer (384), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2005 A pleasant surprise from a brewery whose products I’ve seen for the past 15 years and only now have actually sampled any. Color is very dark amber bordering on brown, with a tall head that disappears and slightly disappoints later on. Aroma is rather complex though, showing elements such as breadiness, leather/tannins (in a positive sense) and cinnamon. Flavor is a unique combination of sharp malts mashed together at a strong hoppy finish; not much more in the way of complexity but very forthright. A strong, solid beer overall.
