| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 14, 2005 Pours a decent initial but quickly diminishing tan head. Nice red appearance. Malts overpower the hops. Nice initial taste before it just goes flat. Won’t buy it again. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 17, 2005 Pours clear, beautiful amber with a medium light tan head that quickly diminishes and leaves good lacing. Nose is fresh and sweet, with hints of apple, malt, and cream. The immediate flavor is rather muted, but improves as it warms to a sweet, slightly acrid flavor with good malts and obvious Cascade hops, as well as creamy caramels and a very slightly smoky finish. All the flavors are pretty weak, though, and overall I probably won’t buy again. slothgar (39), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2005 Not bad as an amber. Not too heavy, not much head. Not my first pick, but I would not turn it away. A lot of "nots" involved with this beer. Dough77 (777), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 17, 2005 Not bad, but nothing really to write about. golden pour, weak caramel notes, tiny hop presence in the taste to go along with the malts. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 15, 2005 Bottle. Poured a medium off-white head that was smooth and mostly diminished. Fair lacing, fine-medium sized bubbles, transparent, minimal carbonation, and an orange brown hue. Malty and sweet aroma. Very faint. Flavor was malty and some caramel. Overall, boring and unexciting. Smooth palate. A so-so brew. Braudog (3773), Dayton, Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jan 12, 2005 Poured bright red with a head that ran away like Carl Williams. Not much of an aroma, maybe light malt. The flavor is average caramel fare with a bit of breadiness. It’s an OK average brew. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 6, 2005 bottle-purchased at woodmans in Rockford, IL pours a mahogony hue with small white head. citric hop aroma-some bready malts, but kinda smells artificial, like sam adams lager. Metallic hops, slight vanilla characteristic. short finish. Noble hops are present in the finish. Not to bad for a mass produced lager from WI. Cornfield (4966), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 4, 2005 This is a palatable drink, but not much of a Vienna. It pours the right amber color. The thin white head soon dissipates. The aroma is sweet and malty, but pretty faint. The body is thin and too carbonated for a good Vienna. The malt flavoring is more like a premium lager, lacking in the richness that I’d expected. Crisp finish. Mediocre.
