A fairly dark reddish-brown pour for an amber, with a medium off-white head that lingers well and leaves okay lacing. Nose is a little weak, but comprised of malty earthen scents with a hint of caramel. Flavor was more of the malted earth, wood and caramel, and the finish fairly short, but okay. Served cold, this would make a decent session beer.

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear dark amber body topped by large off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, biscuit/bread, some spicy, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some biscuit, light spicy/earthy. Very mild bitterness. Smooth, light-medium body.

pours a clear dark amber with a nice two finger light tan fluffy head. aroma is caramel malt and some hops. has a light to medium body with spotty lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with some corn. it is a touch sticky on the lips and the aroma is just a little better than the flavor, but an ok session-able amber. also has just a touch of a dry hop aftertaste.

12oz bottle-An amber body with a nice two finger off white head which has an aroma of sweetness along with some malt. Taste of the same along with a dryness on the back end. A bit thin on this light bodied brew. A drinkable brew.

12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with a small white head. Aroma is slightly fruity with a solid malt backbone; medium sweet. The flavor has the same medium sweet malt character, a touch of bitterness and mild fruit are also in the mix. Still its a bit watery and thin.

Bottle from The Dock. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

Had this beer on 10/2/1999. Aroma is a sweet malt scent. Color is a nice rich brown. Taste is a nutty malt body with a mild bitter finish. It seems more like a Nut Brown. Its an ok beer to drink.
