Commercial Description:
A hand-crafted 100% barley malt lager, Point Classic Amber features a combination of Cluster, Cascade, Hallertauer and Tettnanger hops for a balanced and distinctive flavor. These ingredients, combined with a longer brewing and aging process, give Point Classic Amber a superior flavor and rich, amber color.

crystal clear amber, wispy off white head, caramel corn aroma with light earthy hops, sweet dark caramel malt flavor, just a hint of the vegetables in the aroma, light bitterness in the finish, cleaned up a bit would make an ok amber

(12oz bottle) Crystal clear dark amber body topped by large off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, biscuit/bread, some spicy, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some biscuit, light spicy/earthy. Very mild bitterness. Smooth, light-medium body.

Dark red appearance, with a pleasent nose of sweet apples and malts with a light hop note as well. A regular, slightly pale and earthy flavor, with a good body. Can’t say much... a good summer beer for some porch-sittin’

This is a palatable drink, but not much of a Vienna. It pours the right amber color. The thin white head soon dissipates. The aroma is sweet and malty, but pretty faint. The body is thin and too carbonated for a good Vienna. The malt flavoring is more like a premium lager, lacking in the richness that I’d expected. Crisp finish. Mediocre.

Clear copper with a smallish beige head. Bread dough and clover honey with just a touch of mild grass aroma. Earth/rye bread sweet flavors witha lightly maltly finish. Quite plain.

Pellucid bronze with some white sticky head & some lacing. The aroma is good, some spicy caramel & cinnamon with light hops, good malt complex body. The flavor is very balanced with lots of malt & only a touch of sweetness & bitterness in the tail. Very malty amber, good. Thanks Falconseye!

Bottle from The Dock. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable brew.

Pours deep coppery with an attractive 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, brown sugar, slight hops, some honey, and some cabernet and almonds. Tastes caramel malty up front, not too sweet, with some nutty and vinous fruit notes and some backup hops. I’d call this one good but not great.
