Pours a pale straw, hazy, a nice whitish head that dies to a decent film, laces ok. Aromas are flaked white wheat, more mellow coriander, a bit of orange peel, not the most assertive of Wits, but light and airy, as the coriander asserts itself. Initial is similiar, light bodied, mellow flaked white wheat and coriander, a bit of orange peel, grainy and mellow sweetness. A bit white winey, mellow overall though, certainly goes down easy. Finish is mellow sweetness and coriander that sticks to the palate. Not bad. arkurzynski (96), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Pours extremely pale with bubbly head. Sweet aroma. A bit watered down, but okay. Not a great representation of the style. Pailhead (2587), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Oct 7, 2009 Bottle: The aroma consists of sweet banana, faint orange peel, lemon, and coriander. It pours a hazy dull yellow with some fine sediment and a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor is awful. It starts with a quick dose of sweet, almost sugary, banana and quickly turns to an awful combination of metal, grass, coriander, and faint sour oranges. Light bodied with mild carbonation leaving a thin mouthfeel. I like Belgian Wits, but this is one of the worst beers I’ve had in quite some time. iabeerguy (159), Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 5, 2009 I didn’t get much from this beer. Not much flavor going on compared to other whites I’ve had. Pours a yellow color with a nice white head. Sweet aroma but I didn’t get much flavor out of it. TheBeerBaron (219), Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Cloudy pale gold color with a medium sized white head. There is carbonation activity seen in the glass. The aroma has the expected wheat smell but I’ll be damned I smell peanuts as well. That’s strange! The flavor is a mixture of lemon zest sitting ahead of a dull but full wheat base taste. The finish has a bit of a black pepper kick. The palate is flat and sonsistent. Not the greatest represntation of this style and certainly not up to the Belgian beers of the namesake country. hogan873 (325), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Pale golden cloudy body with a quickly disappearing white head. Spicy aroma with the coriander coming through. The orange peel is somewhat lacking. Medium mouthfeel with some good carbonation. The taste is marginally better than the aroma. The spices are there along with the citrus. Smooth drinking beer that is a decent example of a Belgian White. 13mikey (145), New Hope, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Thin white head that quickly disappears, pale yellow in color. The coriander and orange peel really come through along with the yeast in both the aroma and the taste. Excellent beer. drowland (1404), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
