TomDecapolis (2407), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 27, 2008 Thanks to hopdog for the bottle. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium creamy/bubbly white head that left spotty lacing. Aroma of Wit yeast esters, lemon, orange, corriander and wheat along with some floral notes. Flavor of lightly tart wheat, lemon, light orange, corriander and bready. Crisp, overall it’s dry with a touch of sweetness and some tart notes. Bockyhorsey (1961), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 27, 2008 12oz bottle from Mother in Law. Coriander and lemon aroma on the nose. Hazy yellow body with creamy white head and leaves good lacing on the glass. Flavor had a good dose of bitterness and that took away any real fruity aspects to find in a beer. Zesty soap body texture. Alricght if drinking a beer and watching a ballgame. EithCubes (1802), Indiana, USA Aug 5, 2008 50th Rating from Wisconsin. Bottle. Cleaning fluid and strong coriander, lemony syrup and a strong graininess. Pours a nasty pale yellow with a creamy white head. Taste is dry, strong coriander with a touch of honey under the grain, subtle yeast with bitter orange peel. Dusty medium body. Much better than expected from the opening salvo. Beerman6686 (680), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 5, 2008 Pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a big white head. Aroma is mainly coriander and clove. Flavor is weaker than aroma, very wheaty and not too much fruit in there. WesKBob (147), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Aug 2, 2008 Pours a clear golden color. Moderate white pillowy head with decent retention. Aroma is Belgian yeast and coriander. Flavor is sweet, with fruit, yeast and just a bit of spice. Dry, fizzy finish. A bit too sweet and fizzy for the style, but certainly not a bad beer. Very drinkable on a hot day.
