Aroma is sharp wheat and mild phenols, maybe a touch of yeast. Flavor is wheaty with vanilla, orange, banana, lemon, some mild phenols, and a touch of spice. It lacks the tart finish that I enjoy in my wits, the finish is certainly not sweet, but it is not tart, none of that acid at the end. The yeast seems too mild, the corriander seems nearly non-existant, and the beer nearly looks filtered, but in spite of that all, this is a refreshing beer and maybe a nice transition to something better than BMC. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 2, 2007 Slight spicy aroma, color like a standard pale lager with slight cloudiness, light coriander/citurs flavor. Rather mild for this type of beer--those new to the style or who don’t usually care for it may like it. From a Point sampler pack bought from Sal’s Beverage World in suburban Chicago, a store I very highly recommend. I went to the Villa Park location. pmboy2000 (4), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Apr 19, 2007 I love it, tasty, like the orange touch. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2007 12oz bottle. Not one of my favorite beer styles. Pours lightly hazy yellow, with a 1/2 in., quickly dissipating white head. No lacing. Mild yeasty, fruity aroma. Flavor is a fairly tasty, overall mild/light version of the classic Belgian style. Not a bad interpretation. Spicy, fruity, and a touch sweet. Easy-drinking. Nothing here objectionable, just nothing to get excited about, either. Props again to the Russian Mob for this. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Bottle. Pours a lovely orange with a lively head and beautiful lacing. Aroma is a nice blend of autumn spices, particularly coriander and cinammon, with a touch of nutmeg. Flavor is weak coriander with watery nutmeg. Watery mouthfeel. Kinda like a Grim Reaper album-- looks kick ass, but the contents suck. Brewosk (137), Illinois, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 2, 2007 Pale straw color with a thin short-lived head. Floral, citrus aroma with sweet malts to tease. Light bodied and crisp, clean flavor. Coriander and citric flavors over-power malts. Bubbles continue to rise from the bottom of the glass until emptied.
