Jun 13, 2002 The thing about the midwestern (Wisconsin-Minnesota) old school Bock is that is has many stouty flavours in a lighter body. This one epitomizes what I mean - vanilla, molasses, cherry, sweetish malt. It’s the best entry of a fine little brewery that I think the world of.

Apr 3, 2002 I gave this beer such a high rating because it has a goat on the label drinking a beer. What could be better than that? Seriously though, in the bottle this is a great bock, at the brewery it totally rocks. For midwestern bocks, the only one I like better is Schells.

Dec 30, 2001 One of THE BEST beers to come out of WI, and it’s not even brewed in Milwaukee. A full flavored Bock with no lingering aftertaste.
