Flavors of dark corn syrup, peat, and caramel malt. Does not seem to blend real well and has a very sharp after taste. It’s just this type of flavor that lend prudence to the rumor that bock comes from when the fermentors are cleaned out. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Drank this on the hood of my car watching the sun set at my parent’s place, listenting to The Boss; the experience was better than the beer. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

This was called Augsburger Bock in the 1980’s when the bottle I just drank was made. Dark brown in color. Good carbonation. Nice and malty. This survived the 80’s quite well.
