Color is a clear amber with a thin white head. Flavor is on the light side. The malt is thin and grainy and there is a touch of citrusy hop flavor in the finish. The grassy-grainy flavor isn’t super pleasent to me. Texture and body is light with medium high carbonation. Thanks Jeff, for the bottle. I can see what you mean by almost skunked. I think that is a combination of the citrusy-grapefruit and the grassy flavor. MrChris (110), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Your basic issue IPA bitter mild taste. Pretty uneventful watery mouth feel. One could, er one did get bored drinking this stuff. Yawn. Didn’t pay much for this stuff, got what I paid for kind of beer. tennisjoel (951), Shakopee, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Earthy grassy notes. A nice hoppy aroma. Copper colored. Off white head. I had my first experience with Point beers back in college in Wisconsin. I don’t remember them being very good. This was a better than average pale ale. I see no discernable flaws here, and would easily order this beer again. SSSteve (2096), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 27, 2006 The fragrance of this pale ale is a biting hop one but with an earthy undertone. The flavor brings a unique mix of hops that offers a mild citrus zing that the malts smooth out nicely. There is some bitter/ sour after taste that seems to rise and fall like waves and lasts much too long. Despite the after taste, this is a very nice American Pale. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Mild, not too bitter, but flavorful Pale Ale. Easy drinking. Color is a pale golden with a white head, nose has clear but not over-powering hops. A decent Pale, and worth drinking. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Nice golden color, small white head that had a decent hangtime then faded to leave little behind. The aroma was lightly malty and mildly citrusy with a decent but mild showing from the hops. The flavor was fairly decent but also a little on the weak side.Mild malt coming through with a bit of a citrus side and a mellow bitterness from the hops coming on towrds the end. It’s not exactly a top notch brew but it is fairly smooth and easy to drink, imo it’s worth having a few more especially on a hot day when the usual fare is getting old,and you want just a slight bit more. mittelsteadt (1), Monticello, Iowa, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Aug 6, 2006 This little brewery in Wisconsin does a Pale Ale right. Intense Cascade Hops brings a slightly sweet, tangy bitterness with a great lingering aftertaste.
