Commercial Description:
Point Cascade Pale Ale is handcrafted combining special top-fermenting yeast and a dry hopping process to create this truly classic American Pale Ale. The intriguing character is derived from generous quantities of the choicest Yakima Valley Cascade hops and the finest crystal, 2 row pale, and Munich malts. The result is a delicious American Pale Ale with a signature fragrant hop bouquet and soft malt palate.

A light golden color. Light fragrant smells. Tastes slightly watery, with a bitter finish. Expecting more hops and bigger character. An easy beer to drink but not that complex.

Surpisingly flavorful. Nice citrus hint. I drank an Anchor Liberty right after the Point Cascade pale ale and there really wasn’t a significant difference in quality of taste - I sh*t you not. It’s an excellent value. Zeswaft nailed it in his review below.

Fine lively citrus hop aroma, very light orange amber color,a quick flash of tart citrus hop and a little sweetness, which quickly faded into a light easy drinking session brew, taste really didn’t live up to the incredible aroma, somewhatunbalanced, but one I would take over Miller or Bud in a heartbeat

This beer is slightly above average overall. I would drink it again, but I’ll likely forget any good or bad characteristics of the beer before long. This is not a very memorable ale. It is dark yellow/gold in color with nice head. Aroma is subdued hops mixed with that cheap aluminum smell associated with beers in cans. This one came in a bottle, weird. The flavor is fairly bitter and floral, more pine than citrus in this one. Point’s Cascade Pale Ale is pretty fizzy on the tongue, adding a sharp bitter taste that’s not too unpleasant. For its price (less than $6 a sixer), it’s not a bad deal. 11/20

Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Savannah, Ga. - 12 oz bottle. Dark orange pour, decent off white head. Detect a faint bit of spruciness and citrus fruitiness in the aroma. Flavor has a bit of a citrusy bent to it and is decently tangy. Drinkable. Slight caramel in the finish. Mouthfeel - average, overall - very run of the mill APA.

this beer has a surprisingly big citrus hop aroma. There is moderate hop bitterness and some citrus hop flavor but the body is mostly water and hardly any malt. I only bought one bottle of this but I think it costs like 4 or 5 dollars for a six pack. I’d say it’s not a bad deal. Would probably be a good beer to drink on a KOA site or something. As the bottle comes to a finish I have to say that this is a pretty great little pale ale. It’s definitely underrated.

Golden amber with a small, creamy white head. Citrus hoppiness, caramel, and hay to the nose. Light carbonation and a thin mouthfeel. The flavor was refreshing but uninspired.

12oz. bottle. Mild aroma, fruity, citric, green and hoppy with very faint maltiness but with an unfortunate note of bathroom cleaner. Light-medium golden color, clear, with a lasting, fine head. Flavor is primarily hoppy, starting off with some very light, toasty malts, becoming progressively more bitter and leading to a dry, clean, grapefruit finish. Palate is moderately well carbonated and fairly thin with a light body. In fact, the overall effect is a bit like a club soda. Pretty refreshing, though.
