Commercial Description:
Point Cascade Pale Ale is handcrafted combining special top-fermenting yeast and a dry hopping process to create this truly classic American Pale Ale. The intriguing character is derived from generous quantities of the choicest Yakima Valley Cascade hops and the finest crystal, 2 row pale, and Munich malts. The result is a delicious American Pale Ale with a signature fragrant hop bouquet and soft malt palate.

Objectively speaking: A soft and globally dull pale ale
I like: Cheaply priced at 4$ a pint at Delilah’s. Easy to drink, but perhaps not as fun as some.
I dislike: Does not give me the desire to try the brewery’s other offerings. Maltiness is limited to bland breadiness. Flowery, simplistic hops. Is there really cascade in there? It lacks any sharpness or freshness, no citrus felt. Lacking toasty development. Very light-bodied.

(Bottle) Pours a dark amber color with a soapy looking white head. Decent aroma of hops and sweet malts. Taste is much less malty than the aroma. Bitter hop notes dominate. This is fine and good... but balance is virtually non-existent. Needs better body or more malt to balance that out. Other than that, the palate was a little on the light side. I actually see some potential with this beer, but it is not that great as is.

12oz bottle. Pours burnt orange with white head. Aroma is floral hops, pine and a little citrus. Flavor is hops, citrus, pine and malt. Mouthfeel and flavor is a little thin. Your average APA. Not a bad beer just flavoris a little muted for my liking.

Bottle.Sort of a hazy orange to brownish color.citric-hop,and malt aroma.Piney, floral hop flavors, with kind of a nuttyness to the malt. Point does a nice job with their beers, and dollar for dollar they are quite solid.

Poured golden with a white head. Aroma was not what I expected. It was of caramel and malts. Taste was of caramal, hops, hops, and some hints of citrus. The hop characters were well balanced with the caramel taste. Definately worth drinking again.

Poured clear and a slightly darker than usual copper color with a white to off-white head. Minimal lacing. Citrus on the initial aroma with some light sweet malts and then some pine/floral hops. The flavor was more of the same. Pine and floral flavors eventually trample over everything else. The mouthfeel was thin and the finish was fine. OK.

Bottle. Sweet fruity aroma with some hard bready resin. Bitter, sticky hops with a little stale air. Dirty orange pour with a cream colored head. Taste is very bitter, very hard bitterness, with no fruitiness to improve upon the blandness. Hint of pine way in the back but still under the grain. Touch of caramel in the very crisp, watery body. Pass.
