Goodgrief (993), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 14, 2008 Beer pours copper orange color with okay head. Weak aroma of caramel malt. Caramel malt dominated the flavor, but very mild and subdued. Mild and subdued hopping in this as well. As it warmed, it got worse, with wet cardboard like flavors emerging to the point that I poured the final third because my stomach was starting to feel ill. Beers like this are a total waste of time.
unclemattie (1518), Georgia, USA Jul 13, 2008 12 oz twist-off bottle. Pours clear light amberf. Watery texture. Not that hoppy. Boring. nice hop aroma and that’s it. MrBunn (795), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Body is orange/amber with a nice half inch head. Aromas are caramel, pineapple/citrus hops and apple juice. Flavor is fairly bitter with a nice amount of caramel malt flavors to balance things well. Interestingly I didn’t pick up much of the citrus-type hops in the flavor. GJF (190), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Jun 24, 2008 Updated: Jul 8, 2008It’s surprisingly nice. All straightforward stuff I’d say about the flavors. The body’s bright and a bit fizzy. A refreshing beer at a rock solid price. crowderm (151), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Jun 15, 2008 Has a pretty standard copper pale ale appearance. Decent citrus hope aroma. Nice flavor - mostly citrus, orange, lemon with a some pretty prominent malt sweetness. The mouthfeel really threw me off on this one - it’s really creamy, which would be fantastic if this were a stout, but we’re talking about a pale ale here. Personally, I prefer the palate on my pale ales crisp and clean, rather than full a creamy, but I guess that’s personal preference. Overall though, this was a surprisingly tasty brew. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 4, 2008 This beer pours a copper body with a thin white head. Nice citrus hop aroma with a little pine. Decent hop flavor, grapefruit and lemon in the taste. suprisingly tastey.
