mittelsteadt (1), Monticello, Iowa, USA does not count Aug 6, 2006 This little brewery in Wisconsin does a Pale Ale right. Intense Cascade Hops brings a slightly sweet, tangy bitterness with a great lingering aftertaste. TechMyst (165), Harvard, Illinois, USA Nov 23, 2006 Well, it’s my 100th!!! WITH FRIENDS- y SIPPING- y GET MY BUZZ ON-y Will I revisit this brew? Yes! pkbites (253), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 21, 2007 Pours a golden, medium copper color with a short lasting cream head and fruity aroma. Slight bitterness in the begining which fades but then returns as an aftertaste. Very curious. Light hoppyness, grassy and a hint of citrus. Alcohol content is unknown but this tastes stronger than a regular beer, but not as strong as some ales I’ve had. Very, very good, but overpriced. gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Feb 11, 2005 Updated: Jun 26, 2006Had this one bottled. Clear, light golden color, thin, rapidly dissipating head. Nose of maple syrup, very slight hoppy taste, thin mouthfeel.
RERATE 6/26/06: Hoppiness is seriously understated. This is an excellent example of the type. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jan 13, 2005 Light amber with a decent head that stays only as a thin film. Average citric-hop aroma, followed by lovely piney hop flavors, stout enough to please, but not too overpowering for the average drinker. Good beer for a weekend of drinking!
