Commercial Description:
A hand-crafted 100% barley malt lager, Point Classic Amber features a combination of Cluster, Cascade, Hallertauer and Tettnanger hops for a balanced and distinctive flavor. These ingredients, combined with a longer brewing and aging process, give Point Classic Amber a superior flavor and rich, amber color.

(Bottle) Pours a reddish amber color without much head. Sweet, sticky aroma of caramel and some toffee as well. Flavor is entirely malt based. Some bread, biscuit and maybe a touch of nutmeg are detectable. High carbonation level. Not a whole lot of balance. Certainly drinkable, but not memorable.

Clear amber with decent, foamy head / Bread and corn nose / Light bodied, watery, with cloying sweetness / Flavors of corn syrup and caramel flavoring / Awful.

Deep orange color, minimal head, noticeable carbonation. Flavor is soft caramelized malts followed by a nice well rounded hop finish. Somewhat sweet, medium bodied. Pretty average stuff.

Pours a coppery amber with a solid layer of light tan head. Aroma is a bit minerally, grassy and bit dough-like. Flavor is a definite carbonated bready malt with notes of spice. There is a bit of this mineral quality that I can’t quite put my finger on. Body is light with definite carbonation.
