Commercial Description:
Our Honey Light beer is truly a unique light beer. We brewed it with only the choicest Cascade hops, a blend of select barley malt, 2-row pilsner and red wheat malts, and real Wisconsin honey.

12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with small white head. The aroma had a light amount of honey, fruits, malt, and the slightest touch of spices. The flavor, while refreshing, was all but non existant. Slight sweet honey malt and grass. This is truly a light beer. Watery mouthfeel.

Good not exiting. I would prefer the Sleeman Honey Brown to this but it is still an enjoyable brew

Bottle from The Dock. Poured clear Amber with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light to moderate honey citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Soft sweet drinkable brew.

Not too bad of a pale lager. Aroma of light malt with a hint of honey. Pour was an almost watery gold with no head. Taste was like a Budweiser with some water mixed in and some honey to sweeten it. Better than the average PL, but nothing to get excited about.

Twelve ounce bottle from Point sampler pack. Made with "real Wisconsin honey", Stevens Point repeatedly points out--as opposed to the brewery’s competitors who use fake Wisconsin honey, I suppose. In any event, the aroma is like an old time pale lager obscured with a strong sweet element, the color clear and golden (a tad darker than the typical pale lager), the lacing minimal but not too quick to dissipate, the body definitely on the light side, the flavor sweet and honey-like but not sickeningly sweet like Yuengling Orignal Lager, ok finish. Better than the Point standard lager and way better than BMC trash--the beer to have when all other selections are pathetic.

Bottle. Poured a crystal-clear gold with a small vibrant white head. Sweet aroma with a definite honey note (a lot more than Leinenkuegels Honey Weiss). Flat taste. Basically some honey interjected into their lager. I don’t understand the high ratings on this. I would not recommend anyone seek this out.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. I’m not much of a fan of the other Point beers, but this one is decent. A light beer with more flavor and substance to it. Not a bad choice if you are looking for something different from the heavier micorbrews, but not as plain as the run of the mill light beers.

Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverages - 12 oz bottle. Very light golden pour with a light white head. Industrial cleanser like aroma with plenty of skunk. Metallic flavor with very few redeeming qualities - do not detect the honey that is advertised on the moniker. Very bland and club-soda-like. Harsh, stinging mouthfeel. Nothing much positive about this beer.
