Commercial Description:
Point Horizon Wheat is an alluring combination of spring wheat and specialty malts along with Yakima hops and American ale yeast. This lively and light, perfectly balanced wheat beer pours cloudy and finishes with a white creamy head. The glowing golden hue may help you visualize the start of a new day as early morning rays of sunshine bounce across the horizon of an American wheat field.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grains, citrus, and wheat. Tastes of citrus (lemons) and wheat. Thinner and watery body.

Bottle… Hazy yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Other than an odd note of warm perspiration and a rumor of pale grain, I’m not really picking up much, aroma wise. Medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. Perfectly-balanced, but pretty much flavorless... even at room temperature. Crisp, clean finish. Bottle courtesy of Headbanger!

White head, gone in about 1 sec. Big-bubbled, fully hazy golden beer with greenish shine. Unpleasantly starting nose with vanilla and vomit. Later more garden herbs, mixed with some vegetable frying oil. Weird. Taste proves as weird as the nose: bitter (bittering hops); vegetable: sourish-wheaty; fruitjuiceconcentrate, thinned to the max. Spritzy & empty MF. Clashing aroma’s and flavours. Below par.

Lightly cloudy straw color with a moderate white head. Dry nose, with hints of wheat, grain, citrus and cling peaches. Dry in flavor as well. Minimal malt flavors, again hints of wheat and some mild citrus. Finish has a touch of bitterness and linger has just a faint malt/wheat sweetness. Add a lemon to this and I’m somewhat sure it would completely take over the brew. Wheat Lite? Just not much here.

Bottle. Hazy, pale gold body with a bright white head. The aroma has some light notes of dirty carpet and some lemons. There is also a little bit of flowers. The taste has dishwashing liquid soap with some hints of almond shell. There is also some light notes of bread crust. Not too bad, this is bland more than anything.

Picked up a six pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with an average size white head that slowly dissipates to a lumpy white film with some spotty lacing. Aroma of white bread malt, some citrus hops, wheat and a touch of lemon. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with some fruity wheat character of sweet pears, lemon zest and dark fruit. Finish is semi-sweet, with a light white bread aftertaste with some lemon zest.

Bottle at Beer Bourbon and BBQ Festival in Richmond VA on 5-30-09. Hazy blond. Nose is soft wheat, grass and lemon. Taste is grainy, grassy, semi-sweet with light lemon and floral hop notes. Body is light, crisp with soft, tingly bubbles. Ends with more grains and wheat notes along with light lemon.
