hopdog (4552), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 25, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grains, citrus, and wheat. Tastes of citrus (lemons) and wheat. Thinner and watery body. JPDIPSO (4216), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Mar 26, 2008 Lightly cloudy straw color with a moderate white head. Dry nose, with hints of wheat, grain, citrus and cling peaches. Dry in flavor as well. Minimal malt flavors, again hints of wheat and some mild citrus. Finish has a touch of bitterness and linger has just a faint malt/wheat sweetness. Add a lemon to this and I’m somewhat sure it would completely take over the brew. Wheat Lite? Just not much here. heemer77 (3647), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Hazy, pale gold body with a bright white head. The aroma has some light notes of dirty carpet and some lemons. There is also a little bit of flowers. The taste has dishwashing liquid soap with some hints of almond shell. There is also some light notes of bread crust. Not too bad, this is bland more than anything. Skyview (2800), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Mar 29, 2008 Picked up a six pack at Discount Liquors in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw brew with an average size white head that slowly dissipates to a lumpy white film with some spotty lacing. Aroma of white bread malt, some citrus hops, wheat and a touch of lemon. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with some fruity wheat character of sweet pears, lemon zest and dark fruit. Finish is semi-sweet, with a light white bread aftertaste with some lemon zest. Sledge Jr (2713), Omaha, Nebraska, USA May 26, 2008 In the bottle from Jia Jia’s in Lincoln. Bright fluorescent gold with a poofy white head. I tried my best to swirl up a yeast storm from the bottle into the glass, but at best only produced a mild yeast haze to the beer. Nothing offensive about this beer. Easily quaffable, but it certainly does not provide you with any surprises such as fruitiness or esters a la banana. Medium palate and summer-time refreshing. Nothing great.
