Aromas were almost no-existent; grains. Tastes of grains with some malty sweetness. Thin and watery. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Tastes and smells as close to water as I think I’ve ever found in a beer. A few drops of Bud were added to a bottle of carbonated water... I drank this while watching beerfest... ugh. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 30, 2006 Faint smells of corn syrup and mercury emanate from this absurdly pale yellow brew that sports a tiny bubbled film in lieu of a head. The taste is sweet and metallic, the finish being a zinc-like flavor left on the tongue. On the plus side, no boils erupted on my skin.

From the records no real loss. Straw color with a smallish white fizzy head. Light malt and grain aroma. Light grian flavors and watery feel. Just jumping on the light bandwagon. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 10, 2007 This is a recent arrival at John’s in Iowa City. Apparently, they are making it again. The body is pale gold with a small white head. The aroma has bologna and some notes of potatoes. The taste has a meaty note of summer sauage with some earthy squash. I dont’ mind Point’s regular lager, but this is too strange for me. Skyview (4057), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 27, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Pick & Save in Marshfield, WI. Pours a very light pale golden yellow brew with a thin white head that dissolves too quickly. Serve at 35 degree and you won’t have not head. Aroma of multi-grain (mostly corn) malt with some citrus and flowery hops. Taste is fairly crisp, clean cut, very carbonated and not much hops bitterness. Nothing spectacular but a decent lawn mower beer. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear pale golden color. Head was white and dissipated quickly to a thin film. Aroma was of corn, whole milk, and a whiff of cereal grain. Watery and dry on the tongue. There was a distinct cardboardy flavor up front that gave way to a little honey and cereal grain. Blah.
