Commercial Description:
Point Nude Beach is the perfect summer pleasure. Available only during the warm months of summer, this lively and unfiltered wheat ale is well balanced using "au naturel" raw and red wheat, then delicately finished with Yakima hops. With a refreshing light flavor, Point Nude Beach is perfect while enjoying summer activities or just hanging out with friends. Clothing optional.

Bottle courtesy of Mother In Law. Wheat grain aroma with some citrus zest. Yellow body with white head. Not much carbination lmostly just a swill beer with out much bittering agent. Stale metalic finish on palate. Cool marketing to sell beer with name and label.

Thin white foam. Dark yellow body. The aroma is sour oranges, wheat. Taste is the same oranges, sourish malt, some other muddled citrus.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color with a foamy white head that dissipates away in no time. Grainy malt and lemony wheat aroma, sort of adjuncty. Pretty thin on the palate, with some mild crispness upfront that quickly fades into a sweet finish. Really quite a crappy example of the style. If they aren’t using adjuncts, and even if they are, the brewers should hang their heads in shame after creating this insipid concoction. If taste and quality were clothes, this one is fully nude indeed.

Eagan, Mn. - Old Chicago Pizza - on tap. Light orange pour with a white spritzy head. Somewhat neutral aroma with a hint of spices. Flavor is very basic with some buttery accents, subtle citrus hints and some graininess. Mouthfeel is thick enough for the style. Enjoyable with the game of pool I was shooting.

Bottle from Once Upon a Vine South on 06/09/09. Cloudy orange body with a large frothy white head. Fruity wheat aroma with some hints of clove. Fruity flavor, some light wheat, hints of spice and caramel notes. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Yet another pick up from the 99cent shelf at my liquor store. Not expecting much though. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white fizz (not head) that fizzles out quickly. Smells of wheat, light hops, and a bit of grass. My guess from the smell is that it is going to be extremely weak though. And wow, the thing tastes like wheat-flavored water. Nothing more. One of the lightest beers I’ve had, in that I’ve had light lagers that have more body. Whatever, at least it was cheap. Not recommended.

Bottle from Party Source. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grainy wheat aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. The beer worth having once.

Bottled, medium, thick white head, light yellow, no hop or fruity aroma, just sweet maltiness. No banana or clove flavors, sweet and crisp. Sessionable, cheap American wheat beer.
