Commercial Description:
Point Nude Beach is the perfect summer pleasure. Available only during the warm months of summer, this lively and unfiltered wheat ale is well balanced using "au naturel" raw and red wheat, then delicately finished with Yakima hops. With a refreshing light flavor, Point Nude Beach is perfect while enjoying summer activities or just hanging out with friends. Clothing optional.

Bottled. Medium-Small white head. Light yellow, unimpressive color. Refreshing and crisp palate. Slight citrus notes. Its name describes it perfectly, a cheap beach beer.

(Sample Date: 6/9/2009 Source:Other) 12 oz bottle. Grainy with light spices in nose and some caramel. Slightly cloudy yellow golden. Grainy wheat with light fruitiness and citrus notes. Hints of some spices and orange peel. Light body and mouthfeel. Medium finish with light bitterness. Refreshing but rather unremarkable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color... not the best wheat beer that I have had, but not close to the worst. Aroma is of wheat and citrus. A little to light on the grain bill, and too strong on the citrus, but it would be refreshing on a hot summer day.

Typical for a wheat. Light refreshing character for both aroma and flavor. Notes of wheat, yeast, fruity citrus esters and yeast again. Nice on a hot summer day.

In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours a lightly cloudy maize gold with a medium thick white head that lasts a long time. Mixed aroma of part vegetable and part corn and part wheat. Light body and flavor with a splash of lemon tartness and a grainy husky bite to the finish. Not for me. Why not go ahead and put nude art on the label?

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a pale hazy yellow with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma is acrid bready malts and citrus. Taste is citrus, bread and caramel. Medium bodied.

Hazy gold with light, fizzy white head / Nose of sour malt and lemon / Light to medium body, good malt and hop balance, with fair finish / Fresh, bright flavors of lemon, sour malt, and wheat / Very nice effort by Point, usually a cut above the main stream brewers.
