Lots of carbonation. Aroma is of malt, wheat, hops, and caramel. Taste is of light hops with notes of citrus and wheat. Not nearly as earthy as I had anticipated. Has an almost unrecognizable caramel malt backbone that is very faint in each sip. Lingering wheat flavor. Mouthfeel is way over carbonated, coming of almost like a soda. Inoffensive to the pallate, but not overly enjoyable. Dissapointing. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 19, 2009 Pours a milky light gold with a 1-2 finger creamy white head that has pretty poor retention, but seems to hold at a thin skim. Aroma is wheat, sourdough, lemon peel, hints of planty and citrus hops. Flavor is heavy on yeasty bread dough, a little pepper, lemon and orange zests, a touch of lime and some spices. Finish is bread and spices. Palate is thin and dusty with a good amount of carbonation. Just your average wheat ale, though a little hoppier than many, which is nice but not really enough to save it. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 16, 2009 Single bottle buy from the Binny’s in Orland Park, IL: It poured a hazy pale straw body with a short head. The aroma was bready with a touch of Wheaties. It had an added touch of tart citrus in the flavor with a touch of zest at the end. Okay, but there’s lots of better Summer drinks... and they don’t have stupid names. RSRIZZO (1369), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Carbonation is good with a thin tight head. Aroma of grain and honey. Taste is creamy and sweet. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a creamy feel. Finish is sweet with flavors of bread, honey, a touch of citrus and hint of coriander. After taste is clean leaving you with a fresh feel. Overall this is a good wheat, nice flavor, well balanced and refreshing. This one is much better then there Horizon Wheat. brewmaster55 (48), , Wisconsin, USA

I have had much better and much worse. Would drink again, but will not go out of my way to get it. hopscotch (5514), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Bottle... Hazy yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Grainy, biscuity nose with dabs of honey and cornmeal. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and bristly carbonation. Almost perfectly-balanced, but bland and boring - practically nondescript. Short, crisp, watery finish. Thanks go out to headbanger for shipping this bottle to me! pointer11 (43), Wisconsin, USA

Aroma of orange, yeast, and a little hops. Taste of orange and citrus with a dry finish. This light bodied brew is really light and goes down fairly easy. Why do you need two wheat beers as well as a Belgian Wit? Get a new summer seasonal and drinking this will get no ones clothes off.
