Pours a semi hazy golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film. Aroma of creamed corn with some wheat character and some grassy hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of corn and wheat malt, some grassy hops and a touch of banana. Finish is semi-sweet with a corn and banana aftertaste. It’s an okay beer for the summer. vyvvy (2059), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Pours hazy orange with a large light beige head. The aroma has wheat with a citrus twang, minor spice and a hint of bananas. Medium / thin body with a papery feel and underscored fizzy carbonation. The flavor starts off bland for a wheat and is quite dry as well. The finish has lots of phenolic spice and some lemony citrus. This is not bad at all, but nothing I’ll feel the need to revisit. wisbeerguy (1), Milton, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Nude Beach is described as being a wheat bear made with raw red wheat and yakima hops. It delivered on that description, with a strong wheat flavor and a moderate to high amount of body. There is a citrus note, but it is mild compared to many other wheat beers. The flavor added by the hops was interesting, but there was basically no hop bitterness nor hop aroma. This isn’t a negative for the style, just a statement. It poured a beautiful golden color with a moderate white head and aroma was very subtle. A tiny bit more hop bitterness would be nice to help balance it, but this is a great summer beer. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 10, 2008 This was better than I thought it would be. Something that seems so obvioulsy a marketing scheme seemed a little un trustworthy. Never the less, this beer is a-ok
The beer poured a light orange with a small head. The aroma was more of grassy hops than most hefe-types. The flavor was crisp with a tiny bit of citrus and some nice spicy hops. The palate is smooth. This is pretty good for hot weather. NeonLX (258), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2008 I didn’t have high hopes for this after reading some of the other ratings, but I’m here to tell ya that I was very impressed with this brew. From a bottle, it poured a hazy yellow-orange with sizable white head. Decent lacing. Fairly subtle aroma of wheat bread and maybe a touch of mown grass. Wheaty initial taste--and wheaty all the way through. Minor hopping in the fiinish. Probably the smoothest wheat beer I’ve ever had; more body than I was expecting too. Less sharp than Capital’s Island Wheat, with more moderate carbonation as well. Very nice, and a bargain to boot. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Wheaty and dried-out orange aroma with some spice that is very faint. Very dry malt creaminess, orange, spice, and a little hop spice. Creamy medium body that is a little chalky. Not a poorly made beer but just nothing very exciting. FunkyBrewster (491), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Pours a cloudy light orange with some white froth on top. Aroma is heavy on the wheat and malt with some spicy notes that come through. Flavor is heavy on the malt and with very little hop flavor to match. Sweet orange notes in the finish. Light bodied and not much that stands out in this beer. If I were going for a wheat ale this wouldn’t be my first choice, but resfreshing nonetheless. 17thfloor (1486), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2008 Pours a hazy dark yellow with a big fluffy white foam on top. Aroma of wheat and heavily spiced, lots of clove and orange peel. Thicker fuller mouthful, lightly carbonated, not exactly crisp but rather dull. Milky. Lots of cereal flavor and orange peel. Not terribly sweet either. Too much cereal really weighs it down, could be lighter for a summer beer.
