Foxbush (452), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 4, 2009 Updated: Sep 5, 2009This was purchased at Krogers, The APA poured with a smallish head and clear amber color. The pale ale is a mild one with some hop bitterness. Cascade hops provide a hopiflavors that are balanced and bitter. Smooth finish with no bitterness. Not impressive. I did buy a 6-pack so I have more to try and evaluate. When you have one of these ales the run of the mill lagers are just boring. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Aug 31, 2009 A yellowish amber with a small white head. Weak hop arom, but very clean. flavor is decidedly soapy, funny that, and moderately hoppy. finishes sweet. Tame mouthfeel. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 24, 2009 Same old same old - a decent beer from Point but far from anything special... would definitely choose something else. dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Jul 25, 2009 tastes like and looks like a basic, cheap lager. Despite the recent date and amber bottle, this seems to have aged poorly. ZR2Blazer (46), Roanoke, Virginia, USA Jun 5, 2009 Bottle - Pours medium amber with a 2 finger white head. Very nice lacing from top to bottom. Nice citrus taste with a hoppy finish. Not a go-to Pale Ale, but a nice change. bluemooner (229), Blaine, Minnesota, USA May 25, 2009 Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head. Basic aroma of malt and hops. Tastes of hops, grass, citrus, malts, grains, bread, caramel, and light orange or coriader. Light body. Not a good Pale Ale overall. Jayson2425 (167), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA May 24, 2009 I enjoy a good pale ale and this one from point brewery did not dissapoint. Enjoyed the refreshing after taste ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Feb 20, 2009 Nice dark golden color. Good head that sticks to glass. Text book pale ale taste.
