Commercial Description:
This great American Pale Ale is hand-crafted with a natural blend of the finest barley malt, Munich, Carapils and Crystal specialty malts, Cascade and Williamette hops and pure water. The taste is clean and complex, with a fruit accent and a dry, hoppy finish.

Bottle sampled. Pours a light amber with a off-white head. Aroma of pale malts, grassy hops, and notes of citrus. Flavor of grains, light malts, faint citrus and some light hoppiness with a dry finish.

Bottle. Small head but nice sunset gold color. The aroma was pretty hoppy. Taste was flat but not as flat and disappointing as other Point beers. Good finish although slightly bitter. Mediocre to poor pale ale.

"Brown bottle with a twist off cap. Some rotten hop aroma on the twist, in a good way. Almost a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance with a little more orange added. Taste is quite hoppy, wants to be a baby IPA. Some creamy carbonation in the below average fizz. More hops than I expected for this brand. Yes, almost annoying at times. Mild medicinal bitter finish that hangs for a while. "

clear golden, creamy white head, fresh citrus hop aroma with a hint of corn that quickly disapates or was just imagined, sweet crystal malt flavor with plenty of citrus hops leading to a light bitter finish, by far the best of the Point lineup

Light amber with pleasant, dissapting head / No nose / Light body, with very simple, weak malt and faint citrus flavors / No finish.

Chicago Trip. Friday 21:30. On tap at the Hop Leaf. Gold with a thin head. Nose has some hops but there is a lot of smoke in the bar. Hop flavour is a little rough. Seems to be missing some malt balance.

Pours dark straw colored, going toward a dull copper tone, with a 2-finger eggshell head. Aroma of crisp hops, pale malt, some citrus. Smells like SNPA. The flavor is hoppy and fruity, with some malt notes and citrus at the finish. Gets even crisper as it warms, with that great fruity crisp wet hop note all the way through. This one is very good.
