Commercial Description:
This great American Pale Ale is hand-crafted with a natural blend of the finest barley malt, Munich, Carapils and Crystal specialty malts, Cascade and Williamette hops and pure water. The taste is clean and complex, with a fruit accent and a dry, hoppy finish.

I don't care about anybody else's ratings... this is a fine-crafted brew that has a lovely roasted-and-hoppy taste. Barkeep, another, please!

Point Brewery is starting to concern me. For a long time, they have been one of my fav. brewers, but their new beers tent to market more to Budweiser drinkers rather then beer drinkers. The Pale Ale is one of their classic brews which is good, so it will probably be gone before long. Their old flavor of Bock is my top-ranked beer. Last year they changed this into a bad seasonal that cost more and was no where near the beer that the old Bock was. The White Bier and Honey light are awesome new beers, but it seems for every good new beer, they kill one of their tried and true brands and replace it with something that is a watered down version of the old product. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue, and I really hope they bring back their old Bock recipie, even of they call it something else (Point Dark).

Good aroma, full palate, with a taste that is good but not great. Finish is dry with a bit of hops. Overall slightly above average.

Bright golden- copper in color, small foamy off white head, that doesn't last long. Weak citrus aroma of hops, some caramel malt flavors with a mild hop bite make this very easy to drink, has a strange off flavor, light and watery with a light stale bitterness in the finish, I didn't care for this one at all.

Faint, roasted malt aroma with hints of light bitterness. Small, frothy head that is mostly diminishing. Body has normal carbonation that is somewhat hazy, with small particles. Medium amber hue. Heavy malt in the initial mouthfeel that is cut somewhat by hops & alcohol, but not enough to be truly well-balanced. Improves as it warms, yet this is still a below average American Pale Ale. Nevertheless, cudos to the Point brewery for starting to diversify their product line.

She looks of an October orangish brown in color and give pretty weak head. Her taste is pure malt with no hint of hops...her finish leaves you high and very dry..solid

Pale ale aroma and hops bitterness. Not the best pale ale. Head dies quickly. A good beer though when fishing in the Northwoods of Wi.

Familiar (read: not very interesting) hop flavor and aroma, some unpleasant bitterness. Head is foamy and disappears too fast. As far as $4.99/sixer pale ales go, I’d take the Berghoff over this. At a dollar or so more, I’d beg anyone to skip both in favor of Sierra Nevada.
