clear golden, creamy white head, fresh citrus hop aroma with a hint of corn that quickly disapates or was just imagined, sweet crystal malt flavor with plenty of citrus hops leading to a light bitter finish, by far the best of the Point lineup

Jan 29, 2008 (12oz bottle) Small off-white head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel, light orange, bread, metallic. Light-medium body, decent crispness, light acidity.

Apr 3, 2004 Light amber color with a small off white stable head. Aromas of pale malt with a touch more hops than your normal american standard. Caramel and light fruit flavors. More of an american standard ale then an APA per se, but drinkable.

Nov 30, 2006 Pours dark straw colored, going toward a dull copper tone, with a 2-finger eggshell head. Aroma of crisp hops, pale malt, some citrus. Smells like SNPA. The flavor is hoppy and fruity, with some malt notes and citrus at the finish. Gets even crisper as it warms, with that great fruity crisp wet hop note all the way through. This one is very good.

Sep 12, 2004 Autumn Brew Review 2004. Amber color with a little head. Surprisingly, there’s a fair amount of hops in here. Good flavor and no horrid aftertaste. Hey, this one’s okay!

Mar 14, 2005 Bottle. Small white head that was creamy and smooth and mostly diminishing, fine-very large sized bubbles, sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a yellow golden hue. Malty, caramel, sweet, and hoppy aroma. Flavor was sweet, lightly bitter, hoppy, and somewhat dry. Tingly mouthfeel.

Aug 25, 2006 Draught at the Motley Cow in Iowa City, IA. Clear orange color with thin white head that left no lace. Grassy hop aroma with a bit of pine needles. Flavor was similar with the addition of biscuity malt. Unfortunately it finished kind of flat. I was expecting a little hop bitterness, but.....nothing.

May 27, 2007 Chicago Trip. Friday 21:30. On tap at the Hop Leaf. Gold with a thin head. Nose has some hops but there is a lot of smoke in the bar. Hop flavour is a little rough. Seems to be missing some malt balance.
