Honey, malt, and skunk on the nose. Watery corn malt tasting body with a lot of skunk. GeneralGao (3078), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Head was white and tall with lots of big bubbles that dissipated quickly. There wasn’t any lace left behind. Aroma was of light husky grain and a touch of honey. Delicately sweet on the tongue and light bodied. Fresh malty cereal grain flavor accompanied by light noble hops. Eh. Skyview (4108), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Pretty much how Mike Royko reviewed Point beer for the Chicago Daily News back in 1972. (which may have saved this brewery back in 72). It pours a light pale yellowish amber brew with a fast disolving white head. Aroma-wise it has light tangy hops which I can just barely detect. Flavor is fast and a little hop bite as opposed to carbonation, which makes this more as an American light lager. This is how premium American beers tasted like in the early 1970s. This is refreshing and a cut above almost macro-beer lagers. It’s still okay beer. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 5, 2007 12oz bottle-A clear golden body with no head and it has an aroma of corn and a little malt. Taste of malt but to me another typical pale lager. Not bad IMO a decent drinkable beer. Strykzone (1505), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 2, 2007 I have enjoyed some delicious beers of late. Well, that had to end sometime and it ended here at a pale lager. Actually the beer is not bad tasting. It is fairly crisp and clean and there is really not much to dislike. The problem, like almost every other pale lager, is there just isn’t much to like. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Not a bad example especially for the price. There is actually some soft hop aroma to this. Light malts in both. The no-head thing is a bad sign though. JAF737300 (801), Tampa, Florida, USA
