12 oz bottle. Very light color. Small head. There is some slight lacing. Smells like the laundry room. Flavor is virtually non-existent. Not bad, not good, nothing.

UPDATE: Tried this out of a 12-oz. can and found it to be better than when I last tried it out of a bottle. There seems to be more depth to it for whatever reason. Let one of your macro-drinking friends have one of these and maybe they’ll come over from the dark side. Bonus: a 12-pack of cans is $0.60 cheaper than a 12er of bottles. Very clean and crisp brew. As always, it’s a heckuva buy! ORIGINAL RATING: I used to drink a lot of this back in college. At the time, I could get a case of 24 bottles for less than $6. I hadn’t put one away for about 25 years so I figured it was time. From a bottle, this beer pours a straw color with a white head. Some lacing. Slightly bready & grainy aroma. Light, sweet malt taste initially followed by a somewhat bitter finish. Nothing offensive about this brew and for the money, it’s pretty decent.

This Lager has a different flavor from most - so I can understand how people may find it refreshing. Having drank it considerably growing up the best way to describe the flavor is "dirty sock water". The morning after a night of drinking Point Special Lager is a morning you will never forget... get the toilet paper ready.

The head was average size but diminishing. This was a light colored beer with a light body. It had a nice refreshing flavor.

A medium lager with a highly carbonated crispy character. The head is medium and retains well. Excellent aroma, grainy and slightly fruity flavor, good flavor, but one needs to acquire the taste to fully appreciate. Especially good on tap in frosty mugs

The bottle poured a sparkling clear light straw colored beverage with a small frothy white head that lasted well. The aroma was typical of an American lager with a somewhat subtle malt component well balanced with floral hops. The body was medium light with fizzy carbonation and a smooth texture; surprisingly pleasant. The flavor starts off slightly bitter and acidic. The finish has a medium duration and the bitterness smoothes out as it matures.

Sampled from bottle. Pours a crystal clear yellow-gold with a scattered with head. Aroma is mild noble hops and the flavor is balanced with just a hint of malt sweetness up front. Light to medium-bodied, well-carbonated with a relatively clean finish. A decent lager with no noticable adjuncts, but no excitement either.

The most prominent characteristic is the serving temperature (ideally 3 degrees above freezing) because it is at this temperature that the only sensual stimulation you will recieve from this product occurs...and just following which you will become vaguely aware somewhere in the back recesses of your cortex, that you have just consumed some sort of beverage.
