Bottle - Pours clear yellow 1 finger white head. Nose of yeast, taste is typical of a Lager. I would not call this full bodied, it felt somewhat light to me. Ok beer to get a change from the popular macro US domestics, that’s about it.

Tried it for the first time as I traveled through Stevens Point. Bartender said I would like and she was right. Smooth-bold taste.

Golden color with a thin white head. Slightly sweet but mild aroma with a hint of straw. Light body with a grainy flavor that has hints of corn, hops and citrus.

Pours pale yellow gold with a 1 finger fizzy white head that quickly fades to a skim then quckly to nothing. Aroma is sweet grainy malt, grass, straw, and a hint of wet tree bark. Flavor is grainy, grassy, sweet malt, a bit of hay with a grainy slightly grassy finish. Palate is sweet crisp and has a great carbonation level for the style. Not bad overall for the style.

Bottle, #458. Yellow pour. Aroma and flavor of a corny cheap lager. Very sweet too. Kinda good for the style, I suppose.

A little citrus and spice on the smell. The head comes, then goes. The golden color is very nice for a lager. A little citrus and spice in the taste, this is a special lager. The spice sticks around for a couple seconds, good quality pale lager.

I’m not certain about price elsewhere, but here in Wisconsin, it’s dirt cheap. That makes it very easy to drink a lot of this beer. It’s surprisingly palatable for it’s price. Not much for aroma, but the taste is pretty solid. Very smooth and crisp.

This is my personal favorite. Definitely recommend a tour of the brewery, too. An excellent brewery that is the fifth oldest in the country.
