Pours clear straw yellow with a big fluffy white head.
Smells somewhat sweet but there is this odd scent I can't place, that isn't neccessarilly bad but definitely isn't good.
Tastes sweet at first but that is quickly outdone by fairly strong adjunct corn/rice flavors. The finish is either a plastic grocery sac or lexan I couldn't quite decide. Either way it is very off-putting and hurts the drinkability of what would otherwise be a thirst-quencher.
The same brewery makes Augsburger Golden which is a much better bet, if you can find it.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 15, 2004 Typical american lager. Light yellow color. No real aroma. Flavor has a small hop taste to it with a bit of malt. Above average and better than most macros. heykevin (1269), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 26, 2004 Pale straw color. Light hop aroma, cascade? Touch of honey. Thin malt and corn! lots of it. Despite that not that unpleasant. This will do in a pinch, but its not lacrosse lager , Frank (1075), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 18, 2004 clear pale golden, head is decent initially, but is not lasting. hmm...fair amount of cardboard in the aroma, flavor is corn with a mixture of corn and cardboard in the finish. not at all good. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 9, 2004 grassy, musty aroma that turned me off a bit. ugly pour, etc... flavor and palate isn't offensive. grassy, thin, and a bit cremey. hey, it didn't actually upset me except for the finish. seems like the hops miracously grew metal spikes. egh, but this beer isn't that bad. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 2, 2004 Pale amber under a white head. Aroma and flavor unexceptional. Like a mass produced Bud or Miller. Nothing of any note. sethdude (609), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2003 POured fizzy yellow, absolutely no head, no lace. Smells like a typical american standard, tastes like one too. Maybe a slight bit more hop aroma and flavor, an ok malty finish, nothing to write home about. Would never buy again.
