Clear yellow body with a foamy thick white head. Macro look. Aroma has sulfury corn. Flavor is anothing special grainly lager with some light sweetness and light hopping. Okay, but not great.

Deep golden with disapearing head / Honey, flinty nose / Medium body, fat on the tongue, with pleasant, clean flavors of grain and a touch of honey / Fair honey finish / A nice example of this basic style. A beer to consider when at the lodge in Wisconsin.

Twelve ounce bottle from sampler pack bought at the great Sal’s Beverage World in suburban Chicago. Golden hue that’s darker than the BMC pale lager losers, head that doesn’t diminish too quickly, faint sweet aroma, light sweet malt/adjunct taste. Not a beer to climb mountains for, but refreshing after a hot summer afternoon of yardwork when an imperial stout just isn’t the best choice (I know, I’m funny that way). The regional pale lagers are almost always better than the macro swill, and this beer is no exception.

Typical lager smell. A bit of floral hoppyness in the aroma. Clear golden, same as the rest. Hyperactive bubbles soda head. Can taste hops, boring. Can sorta taste some vegetable. I’m 55% certain it uses corn. Always hated the lager palate, somewhat soda-esque carbonation and watery.

12 ounce bottle. Pale golden with a snow white head. Suprisingly nice aroma of pilsner malt and noble type hops. Sort of a vegtable flavor, with a bitterness that is actually noticeable. Hearty. For a pale lager, this is a winner.
