I think this is what I had in England, simply labelled Stevens Point (judging by comments)...amber, caramel aroma, light body, sweet, bland.

(12oz bottle) Small white head atop crystal clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, corn, some honey, light bread, spicy. Taste is medium sweet, corn, light bread, spicy, metallic. Watery light body, fairly drinkable.

12oz bottle (with the 1800’s era label reproduction; boy am I lucky to score this one!). Poured a lighter yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of grains and some corn. Thin and watery.

Pours a transparent bright golden with a thin, fizzy covering of wispy-lacing white head. Dull aroma of mildly sweet pale grains and some earthy noble bittering hops. Body starts with average fullness and a light malty sweetness throughout with some floral grassy hops and bitter balance before a slightly drier finish. A good example of the style and quite drinkable, but not much else.

Not a bad lager, but I’ve just used an old bottle from the fridge to wash down a particularly bad experience with an English ale, so that might be influencing my rating. Actually it’s at least a step above the macros. It’s got a clear golden color with a thin white head and decent carbonation. The aroma is of mild malts and grass. The taste? There’s corn in here, maybe some rice, too. Fairly clean and crisp. Glad it was my last bottle, though.

Light golden color with a wispy dissipating white head. Malt and dextrose aroma with a hint of hops. Very light flavor of pale malt with a light citrus background. Somewhat fizzy in feel. Seem to get more watery as I go. Actually the linger has a nice light malt flavor. But otherwise quite average.

Bottle from The Dock. Poured clear dark amber with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Good balanced aroma. Medium body. Well balanced flavor with a moderate bitter finish. Average brew.
