This is a beer thats been around for over 150 years and can kick the shit out of miller and bud. It’s a step up from the macro lagers, with excellent flavor and drinkability. I drink this beer every time i go to second street pub in stevens point.

A good beer for those of you who like a strong taste. It is definately not a light beer and will definately fill you up. It is, by far, my favorite beer.

As a Wisconsinite and graduate of the Univ of Wis - Stevens Point I had years to enjoy this fabulous brew. Now living in Ky I am now fortunate to have found a store that carries this love of my life. I just wish I could get it for the same price as in Point. Not only is this a wonderful beer to drink for any occassion but also great to boil brats & onions to ready them for the grill. I find this to be one of the best American Standard Lager Beers around. every opertunity I have to share this beer with others I find new converts to Point. This beer may not be for those that prefer ’quality beers such as Bud’(joke) This beer has to much flavor for there deserning pallets.

This is my personal favorite. Definitely recommend a tour of the brewery, too. An excellent brewery that is the fifth oldest in the country.

Point Special is a great example of an American German beer -- brewed a little heavier and more flavorful for the German immigrants in Wisconsin.

A medium lager with a highly carbonated crispy character. The head is medium and retains well. Excellent aroma, grainy and slightly fruity flavor, good flavor, but one needs to acquire the taste to fully appreciate. Especially good on tap in frosty mugs
