Very deep reddish-brown color, thick tan head that dissipated quite rapidly, thick milky mouthfeel, taste slightly carmelly, slightly bitter and hoppy. Not a whole lot of taste going on but other than that not a bad beer.

Wiff of hallertauer on opening-poured a rich copper color with a moderate creamy head and weak lacing. Mild but pleasant aroma-warm and toasty malt and chocolate with a yeasty note. Light to medium bodied, very smooth, malty flavors of chocolate and caramel, brown sugar sweet with a short finish, faintly bitter. Good fresh batch, and I’m glad they have reverted to brewing this as a seasonal. Fine drinkability, and my only complaint is that they forgot the goat on the label. Bottling date on neck.

12 oz. bottle: dark clear walnut coloured body, with a very nice persistent cream. Sweet fruity malt aroma, with an interesting pale hop essence and buttery grain component…sticky malt body and some caramel sweetness. Really not too bad even if it is a bit one dimensional.

Strong banana and clove aroma, with a big taste of bananas, spices, candy and fruit. This was really good and smooth. Thanks to slikwily.

Malty aroma, small head, red color. It seemed a bit too carbonated, though. A little weak compared to other bocks. Overall, it was a easy-drinking bock. Little alcohol taste, not terribly smooth, but couldn't beat the $4.99 price!

A little dissappointing but not a bad bock. Sweet and malty with OK carbonation. Just a slight weakness in flavor, but still worth a try if you want a bock at an affordable price. Had some decent lacing and the head initially poured rather nicely but evaporated pretty quickly.

Dark brown with a ruby hint, tan head that faded quickly but left a small lace behind. The aroma was Malty caramel with a slightly sweet side, hops and mildly fruity. The taste was malty and caramel with a mild bitter sweet side to it mild hops and maybe even a little raisin coming through as well as the brew warms up.The finish is malty.Over all not a bad brew,it could maybe use a little tweaking, like slightly higher ABV. and a bit more hopping, but it still manages to come off as quite good and highly drinkable.

Good malty aroma. Malt carries well throughout the brew. Finishes slightly sweet. A good Bock.
