Commercial Description:
It just wasn’t enough to use a blend of 5 varieties of hops in our India Pale Ale. We needed more. We needed to go wholehog! So, we added a sixth hop and created a more pronounced hop nose and a massive hop flavor for our American twist to this legendary style.

Sextuple hopped brewed, take that Swiller. Oh wait, I just gave horny goat an idea. Clear amber with a two finger fluffy tan head that leaves a solid ring of lace around the glass. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit, peaches, pineapple along with pale and sweet malt. Taste of resin, citrus, light fruit, crystal malt and mild sulfur. Moderate lasting bitterness and mildly sticky in body, it’s a touch too abrasive. It’s okay but it seems to miss the mark after the promising start.

Hazy pour, copper to amber, flourishes up a yellowish head, generous lace on the glass. Hops aroma, but not really a strong one, piney, then floral. Hops bitterness balanced with the sweet, cidery malt body of an amber ale, a bit of cream soda on the end. Wet, and cellary throughout, bit of tobacco smoke on the finish. Medium bodied, somewhat oily.

thin tan head that lays out quickly. Hazy copper hue. Nose is faint with malts, dirt, earth. Light bodied, little carbonation, light astringency. Dry malty flavors, bready, old, stale apples, light oxydative notes, watery. Dry, crappy finish. What a waste of malt and hops if there were really any used? Botttle procured @statelineliquors. You folks are way too generous.

Poured a nice deep cooper color with 2 finger white head. Aroma = Sweet caramel malt, BA calls this a DIPA and I would tend to agree more with that, BUT Point calls this an IPA, so I gotta review according to that, this is too sweet smelling to be an IPA, and the aroma is decent, but it doesnt have that nice, citrus, piney smell that I like so much. Taste = Again, sweet caramel malt, with big hop bitterness, but no citrus or piney hops, and the taste comes across like medicine. Mouthfeel = For an IPA to thick and sticky. Drinkability = Although it’s 8.5% abv, you would never know it, so its pretty drinkable in that aspect, but overall I wouldn’t be able to put down more than one of these because of the flavor. Overall = If im looking for an IPA [or a DIPA] I would look almost ANYWHERE else but this one for that fix. And its actually getting worse at it warms to me.

Pours amber. Spicy dry-hop aroma. Smooth sweet taste with nice Northwestern hopping.

12oz bottle. Small off-white head atop lightly hazed body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, bread, light caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, earthy, some caramel/bread, light booziness. Medium body, some resin. Wholly underwhelming.

In the bomber bottle at the 2009 Crescent Moon Summer Beer Festival. Pours amber with a white head. Lots of caramel flavors. Good stuff, but not great.

12 oz. - Max’s. Dried fruit and caramel notes warm to a soft butterscotch undertones Candied citric hop flavors throughout are beaten down by a sugary caramel malt hammer. Medium bodied, soft carboantion, sweet pine finish. I guess it’s more in the realm of a British D-IPA, but ultimaltely I just didn’t care. It was almost as bad as their Imperial Pils if you’re asking...
