Commercial Description:
It just wasn’t enough to use a blend of 5 varieties of hops in our India Pale Ale. We needed more. We needed to go wholehog! So, we added a sixth hop and created a more pronounced hop nose and a massive hop flavor for our American twist to this legendary style.

(12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours a clear amber with no head, bubbles or lacing. Nose is great with honey, toasted caramel and almost no hops. Taste is hops, honey, with an oily mouthfeel. This beer is undercarbonated a bit as well.

Bottle. Pours a reddish copper color with not much head. Aroma is lacking..not much there. taste is very bleh. some hops notes, some malt, but nothing goes together and just runs around the mouth trying to get together. Unbalanced, uninteresting, and yet another smash hit from this brewer.

Poured from the bottle with a rich frothy head. Aroma was a good balance of hops. Nothing specific but pleasing. Flavor was of toffee malts and hops. Overall a very solid beer. A strong malt backbone to support the hops. A hefty amount of bittering that didn’t burn my tongue. This is what I imagine IPAs once tasted like

Pours a copper color with thin off white head. Aroma is citrus hops, some diacetyl and caramel malt. Taste is much the same. This wasn’t a very good IPA in my book. Lack of a citrus profile, combined with the diacetyl just don’t add up.

Pours an amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is grassy hops, light citrus, and a medium amount of malts. Taste is much the same. Tastes more like an IPA to me. A decent standard fair, but nothing exciting.

Amber with good, foamy off-white head / Faint hop and citrus nose / Light to medium body, with good balance and fair finish / Flavors of toasted barley, dry hops, and burnt sugar, with citrus notes / Point is doing a nice job of transitioning from being a micro to a craft brewer. As an older drinker with fond memories of them during my college days, I wish them well and say keep at it.
