Indra (1832), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Dec 3, 2001 Aroma is darkly fruity and malty. Very nice somewhat murky garnet coloration. Initial flavor is of the spices mingling with the fruity malt flavors, which are somewhat intense, and then some fruity/hoppy aftertastes, with the spices coming into it again at the tail end of the beer. This isn’t a Winter Warmer, per se, though, the overall mouthfeel and probably alcohol content don’t indicate it, anyway. Just a spiced dark red ale. I like this beer.
