It wasn't quite as hoppy as the City Pale Ale I compared it with, but there was more "heft" to the body of Rattlesnake. Medium amber color with a decent head on initial pour from the bottle. Quite malty with fairly subtle hop ov Braudog (3778), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Pours cloudy orange-copper with a mountainous off-white head. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy (floral and citrus). Slightly bitter with a clean finish. Light hops meld nicely with a decent pale malt backbone. Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. A very enjoyable pale ale. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Good hoppy citrus aroma with a mild malt and maybe a little bit of a pine note coming through as well.Nice mild hops up front with a mild grapefruit and mild malty taste. The brew is pretty smooth from start to finish with just a light bitterness at the tail end.Not bad at all and a decent summer brew for sure. Thanks go to Falconseye for sending this brew my way. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA

Soft body, maybe a little thin. Light peppery hop finish. Not very interesting, but nothing to detract from a solid, easy drinkin' beer. sethdude (604), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2003 Updated: Oct 27, 2003 Reminded me more of an English Pale than an APA, I still enjoyed this one for what it was. Poured an amber/golden color, thick khaki head that lasts due to the (overly) high carbonation. Smells fruity and grainy, somewhat like a very very weak belgian. Palate is moderately smooth. Flavor isinitially fruity, mellows into malts, a hint of hop, and ends fruity. I would not say this beer is bad, and perhaps would be very good if I wasn't expecting a more commmon APA flavor. Light hoppy flavor, fairly mild, caramel malts & light biscuits & dusty hops. Finishes balanced, medium bodied. Thanks Falconseye! Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
