Commercial Description:
Kansas City's great amber ale is sweeping through the Midwest again. Munich and European crystal hops and grains grown here in the heartland give Tornado Red Ale aggressive hoppiness followed by a rich, smooth malt flavor. It's the flavor that won the Silver Medal at the Great American Beer Festival, and only Pony Express has it.

Bottled. Beer of the month club. Nothing special here. Tasted like a beer. Slight bitter malt taste to it. Ended pretty boring.

Thanks to DMeyers69. Mild sweet aroma, light caramel. Stunted fruity hops, bit of carbonation aroma and some diacetyl. Clear orange amber with thin foamy lacing off-white head. Medium body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with bit of caramel and sweet maltiness. Fruity with a bit of cherrystone tang. Good dry bitterness in finish. Mild fruity alum bitter after and watery overall.

Light copper with a collapsing head and no lacing. Malty and floral nose. Floral and slightly soapy flavor with some malt notes. Very mediocre beer.

Dark copper color with a moderate light beige head. Caramel and mild toasted malt aromas. Toasted malt flavor dominate with some toasted biscuits and mild brown sugar. A mild green hop bitterness comes in late. Another average amber.

poured a rich copper color with a frothy white head. Aroma was sweet of caramel and some floral hops. Rich malty flavor balanced out by a pleasent malt finish. very smooth.

Bottle: Has a very dry bite to it. With some malty flavor standing out and lingering the longest. Its a red/brown.gold color, minimal head but lots of carbonation and some nice lacing.

Really like this beer! Be a great session brew. Poured with a nice foamy textured head that lasts along with some lace. Nice clear amber color. Nose was caramel malt sweet at first then you pick up some nice hop in there. Flavor was that and bigger. Very satisfying. Nice mouthfeel. Good finish. Got it in a beer o the month package the other day.
