Poured a cloudy light amber. the nose was light hops and belgian yeast. Nice hop flavor to it, maybe a bit on the mild side for a strong ale, but a nice beer with dry yeasty finish. A good session beer for sure, lassem (310), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 24, 2008 11.2oz bottle: A huge, spritzy head rises up and out of the glass as I pour gently down the side. The head eventually subsides, melting into mounds of foamy cream above the pale yellow body. The nose is enticing with a honey laden malt structure, balanced by grassy noble hops. The malts grow in complexity as the beer warms, revealing subtle notes of caramel, toffee, butterscotch. The hops add a nice pilsner like dimension, adding notes of grass and pine to the mix. Drinkable for a bigger beer. Very good.
