| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Aroma is classically Belgian--fruity, grassy, slightly honeyed. Cloudy yellow-gold with lacy head. Flavor starts out taut, with a greater hop presence than most Belgians, then eases into a yeasty fruitiness at the finish. Palate is suitably light for such a dry ale. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 8, 2007 I admit this score is probably a little too high for others - I have a weakness for big, blonde, farmhouse-style Belgians. Stong "Arabier" cake-ish yeast scent mingles with a Dupont like grassiness with a faint juicy fruit flavor. Pineapple? Not quite. Maybe more like yellow apple and mango, whatever.. The important thing about this beer is that it’s not a bold, dense flavor juggernaut, but rather
a deft compostition of classic rustic Belgian flavors that totally satisfies. Kind of like a crisp, extra juicy Saison Dupont, but not necessarily better. downender (2633), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Bright gold with a big, tight white head. Aroma of grassy hops with some honey and grapefruit. The flavour had sweet malt, some spice and a long hoppy finish. Very good. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2007 One of my go-to beers, with a real bitterness that’s nevertheless restrained and refreshing. Most recently, from a 75 cL: Cloudy gold with a seriously tight-laced, lasting head. Grassy, piney nose and a flavor that’s mildly bitter, just a touch of sweetness, medium to full body and lively mouthfeel. Dryish, grassy finish. Writing about it makes me wish I had some right now. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2007 On draft, poured a nice amber hue with barley any head. Aroma was a mix of caramel and bread like notes. Flavor was initially fruity some banana notes and some smooth caramel notes, finished clean.
