Shinny clear golden with some hazy notes and a white bubbly head. Restrained, herbal, phenollic aroma. Citric bitterness with some fruits and a slight alcoholic touch and a dry salty ending. The cross between a hoppy APA and a strong yeast belgian golden ale. Very interesting. Medium mouthfeel, flavorfull and a dry ending. Interesting hoppy belgian ale. ha1ag (419), Maastricht, Netherlands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Not as hoppy as I would’ve liked. Highly carbonated and tingled in my nose as I drew my first generous sip. Nice color and decent skunky Belgian nose, but hop bitterness was severly lacking for a beer supposedly all about hops. Lemon astringency and slight lingering bitterness, but, again, nothing spectacular. I could drink 10 of these. Really nice crafted brew. jameswolfe (142), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

I like to finish a sixer before giving ratings, but this was the only bottle I had. This beer looks great with a nice white rocky head and blond color. Some sediment present as well. Taste is somewhat dissapointing, but still a very good easy drinking ale. Lemon and spices and nice finish. Not a lot of hop taste. holdenn (1443), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Tiny bubbled white head with excellent lacing on top of a clear yellow gold color. Grain aroma, light yeast, pear, and pepper. Lighty sweet flavors, malt, grain, alcohol, pepper, corriander, musty, balanced really well. Medium bodied and light carbonation. I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying this one. redlight (1464), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 12, 2007 I think my bottle was past its prime. I would assume by the name and the picture of a hop field on the bottle that it would be a good belgian hoppy beer, not a lot of hop flavor coming through here. It was alright. Nothing special here. onlyrocknroll (220), Cork, Ireland
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Beautiful, dark hazy orange with a large rocky head. Surprisingly light flavours, a little complexity, mild bitterness, and some spice (cumin), especially on the lingering dry finish. Altogether a very pleasant beer.
